I'm Kimiko!

Pronounced like KEY-ME-KO. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. My family has been living here for generations. Growing up, I was never the sporty kid—maybe I lacked the skills (LOL), or maybe it just wasn’t my thing. What truly lit me up was anything creative. I thrived in the arts—drawing, painting, pottery—you name it, if it involved getting messy and making something, I was in my element. Then came middle school, when I picked up a camera for a school project… and that was it. It felt like unlocking a new way of seeing the world. From that moment, I knew this was more than a hobby. It was the start of an adventure, and I’ve been chasing light, love, and honest moments ever since.

I work full-time in the corporate world, but I love tapping into my creative side whenever I can. When I have free time (which can be rare!), you’ll usually find me in the water, out on a hike, lost in a good book, deep into a movie or show marathon (love a good rom-com or murder mystery!!), or exploring new food spots.
